Eddie Johnson
Neither the tenor saxophonist based in Chicago, nor the pianist and leader of Eddie Johnson's Crackerjacks, this musician doubled on trombone and tuba in the '30s and '40s, playing in the bands of Jimmy Mundy and Benny Carter, among others.
