Endless Torment

Endless Torment erupted onto the UK Metal scene in 2003. Despite an array of line up changes the original duo of Barney (founder/lyricist/vocalist) and Jez (production/guitar) has remained constant up to the present day. In early 2004, Endless Torment released their debut EP “Endless.” Recorded at the band’s Endless Studios in Birmingham UK “Endless” stunned the underground scene, showcasing the musicianship and energy that the band have become acknowledged for; by way of their enthralling live performances and commitment to the cause. With no punches pulled, the EP reveals well crafted songs with intelligent and thought provoking lyrics, a perfect confluence of traditional death metal brutality and epic vision that to this date no other UK death metal bands have thus far achieved. The latter part of 2004 signaled a major turning point for the band when they went through several line-up changes. Shrugging off the ghosts of former comings and goings, the successive recruitment of present drummer Piss, bassist Rob and guitarist Dave (of Bring Out Your Dead) has established that enduring, unstoppable line-up which Barney and Jez have been working towards since the band’s conception. Since the beginning of 2005, Endless Torment have found themselves on many major bills with bands such as Behemoth, Pungent Stench and Vader, not forgetting their slot at this year’s Deathfest alongside such names as: Screamin’ Deamon, Gorerotted and Cancer. This has been, without doubt, one of their strongest and most successful seasons to date, a time in which new ideas and hordes of new followers have been borne. 2007 heralds the release of the band’s long awaited follow up to “Endless”. An amalgamated zenith of Barney’s vision, the new release embraces all aspects of the integral force that is Endless Torment. Of Mankind's Fall reveals the extent to which they have gone to produce a sound that is both unique, yet unmistakably that of which a steadfast army of acolytes has grown to revere.
