Essence of Ape
We are Essence of Ape, the premier Jam-Funk Rock experience. We all hail from the greater Detroit area and attend colleges throughout michigan. Our members include Steve Baker (WMU) on lead vocals, Dan Polant (UofM) on guitar, Jon Benaderet (MSU) on bass guitar, Blair Early(MSU) on drums, and Jeremy Smoot (UofM) on keyboards. We recently recorded our debut album Essence of Ape at Western Sound Studios in Kalamazoo.
