This song is one of the best ballads ever written, sung by a master. It sends the hairs on the back of my neck on end. The song itself is the essence of soul. Etta's voice captures all the passion and longing the lyrics evoke. The arrangement compliments the whole feel of the song superbly … I’ve run out of superlatives – magnificent.
