F.G. The General
Born August 23rd 1984, and raised in Lansing, Michigan, Ryan Fitzpatrick a.k.a. FG The General had many different learning experiences, tragedies, and difficult situations that have made him the writer/musician that he is today. Although he had a family that was always there for him, he struggled with staying out of trouble in the streets and with the police. His only retreat would be to sit down and write about everything that was going on in his life. Soon after starting high school in 1998 he met up with current group members, G.C., Free Mane, O.N.E., and Grizz and started a rap/hip-hop group called The Infamous. Rapping always came easy to FG because of his life experiences and ability to write about anything that he put his mind to. As years went on FG only became better at his skill and along with the group started to take things more seriously. Now in 2007 the group is still together and now called Skin Deep with the same members as before only with 3 more people added on (K.C., O.E.,and Chief Spade). We go by Skin Deep & The Bretheren in the streets because over the years we have become well represented by everyone in each member’s respected neighborhood. Loyalty has been instilled into FG and he can boast that his click is **** free. He aspires to be a solo artist and put Michigan on the map. He currently lives in Los Angeles grinding hard to follow and achieve his dreams. Still recording tracks and trying to find shows to do in the area, he takes his dream seriously and treats it as a full time job. He reps his home city of Lansing to the fullest and hopes to get it the respect it deserves. The area is thriving in hip-hop talent and goes through the same struggles as any other place in the nation. Take the time to get to know him in person and you will see his ambition and drive. Music is his passion and his love and it shows in each one of his songs. He has the unique ability to write to any genre of music and rap in any style that is put in front of him. He has 10 years of rapping experience and is only getting better everyday, he believes his music speaks for itself.
