Flairck
Assembled by talented guitarist Erik Visser as a classically influenced folk music outfit, Flairck (from the English word "flair" and Dutch "vlerk") debuted in 1978 with the release of Variaties Op Een Dame (Variations on a Lady). Within a decade, Flairck became an ethnic fusion orchestra, combining jazz, blues, Celtic, Balkan, and even gypsy music. Their sound and live performances started getting a new dimension when, in the mid-'90s, accordionist Ben van den Berg, cellist Cora den Haring, singer Natalia Rogalski, and flutist Jeroen Goossens joined in. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
