Italian singer/songwriter Francesco Guccini got involved in music in the late-'50s while participating in a local band called Hurricanes, soon, changing its name to Snakers, playing rock & roll classics. After joining Gatti (the Cats), Francesco Guccini began composing, later, teaming up with a very popular Italian group called Nomadi (the Nomads). In 1967, the talented artist decided to start his solo career, recording Folkbeat, No. 1, followed by 1970's Due Anni Dopo and 1971's L'isola Non Trovata.
