Full Blown Kirk

Connecting streamlined grooves with spacey rock atmospheres and associating a distinguishing vocals section secured by Alison Scola (vocals) and Krista Tortora, Full Blown Kirk issue singular versions of hybrid electronic compounds, sprinkled along trip-hop and industrial junctions. Jack Velvet Randall (guitar), Joe Minadeo (keyboards), Dave Braun (drums), finish up Kirk's lineup, formed in Kent, OH, in 1995. Starting off as a musical cooperation between Minadeo and Tortora, Kirk rapidly evolved into a complete setup, exploring alternative ambiences, determined to bring up rousing picks of glaring electronica. It was in 1997 that the unit issued their first disc, the EP Faiza, enjoying a considerable success and raving reviews by the media. Two years after, the team recorded their first full-length; Zero Day hit the record stores in 1999. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, All Music Guide
