FUZZTARD is the concept of a sound thats been incubating in founding member Pils head for almost 15 years. Pils, formely a member of bands Such as SOULDIVIDER, BETRAYER (Swe) THE DOWNED, SUNBEAM, IMMORTAL DESTINY, GLORY (Swe) DEAR DEAD DARLING and HEXEN. When SOULDIVIDER was put on ice in 2003 Pils and Souldivider leadguitarist Andreas joined forces with Vocalist Jolle from swedish cult-doomact SEMLAH and Drummer Johan from Local trashcombo HORNED. Then FUZZTARD was on hold for over a year due to personal reasons. Under that period Johan left to form THE LAW. During the winter 05/06 Satan called to arms again and some new demos were recorded with different sessiondrummers. The sound is a mixture of newer aggressive metalbands and the classic 80's and early 90's thrash/doom/NWOBHM acts. A deal for a 2007 release has been cut with the newborn indielabel TOTAL DOOMINATION.
