Gabrielle Roth & the Mirrors
Gabrielle Roth has spent over three decades as a musician, dancer, spiritual teacher and author. Her books, videos and recordings have all focused on increasing spirituality and focus through movement. Her band, the Mirrors, features musicians who have recorded with a number of famous artists, including Sting, The Talking Heads, Marianne Faithful, Patti Smith, and Miles Davis. Together they have made more than 10 recordings, including the critically acclaimed soundtrack to her video, The Wave, entitled The Endless Wave: Volume 1 and Sundari, which is a recording intended to go along with a Jivamukti yoga class. While each of the albums varies in its tone and purpose, all of them feature world music influences and hypnotic rhythms intended to cause a change of consciousness. ~ Stacia Proefrock, All Music Guide
