Console_Gamer93's Album Review for Majestic

...and then some.
This is my first Gamma Ray album so lets get that out of the way. Therefore i can't really compare it to their older material (10 songs here or there but no CD comparison).
The album initially caught my attention to the similarities to Judas Priest. Though this went away as i got more familiar with the band. There is no ballad which is fine...don't put one just so you can say you did. This album is quite fast but has moments where the speed takes a backseat.
The guitar parts are great and don't repeat. That drumming from what i can tell has vastly improved from their earlier work (new drummer i think??). Vocals are great. High when they have to be and low to set different moods. It took me a few listens before i got into the songs and there are still a few that im not too fond of but thats not mad seeing as the album is long enough.
Favourites/Highlights: Fight, Strange World, Spiritual Dictator, and How Long
