Gerry Joe Weise was born in 1959 in Sydney, Australia. During the 1970's he supported AC/DC, Rose Tattoo and Midnight Oil, with Sydney bands the Class and Siren. He has released the solo albums 1994 "Live In Paris", 1996 "A Letter To Jimi", 1999 "Bushman Boogie", 2005 "Sydney-Paris Blues". He has jammed with B.B.King, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, Noel Redding and Eric Clapton. He has also guest supported Ray Charles, Buddy Guy, the Scorpions, Iggy Pop & the Stooges, John McLaughlin, the Yardbirds, Pat Metheny, Joe Louis Walker, Dave Hole, Luther 'Houserocker' Johnson, Canned Heat, Bob Brozman, Nine Below Zero, Luther Allison, Van Wilks, Deborah Coleman and Otis Grand.
