Go Go Galaxion came together in the summer of 1998, brought together by the members love of psychedelic pop. Guitarists Sean Chiki and Craig Kester teamed with bassist Brian Weaver to make up the original lineup; it wasn't until the next year that drummer Darron Weasler was added to the group. They began recording soon after, slowly gathering enough songs to warrant a debut album.
