Grayson Hugh
This Connecticut vocalist excited soul fans for a brief period in 1988 with his LP Blind To Reason, which was about as close to being gritty, gospel-tinged material as anyone was cutting at that time. The single "Talk It Over" made the pop Top 20, but the next single, "Bring It All Back," fizzled. Hugh was shortly off the scene. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
