Grimskull got together in 1988 after the break of the Montreal-based Fatal Illness. Following in the same fast paced drunk punk of their previous band, Grimskull has spent most of their time in a touring van after self-releasing their Autumn Flowers demo in 1991. Since then, a handful of full-lengths have been produced while taking breaks from their perpetual tour of North America; this includes their self-titled debut album (1994), Meltdown (1995), Autumn Flowers Rerolled (1997), and Fieldtrip (1998). ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
