elmo-vil's Album Review for Celebrity Skin
""
One of my two favourite ever
Hole turned to Pop.
Brilliant songs that sounds happy but you know... they're really dark. Courtney Love's inspirations are almost always based on stardom, public eyes and how they affect to her inner world. Malibu and Boys on the radio are two great songs, but not the only good ones on the album. from the riff opening Celebrity Skin to the sounds ending Petals, the soundtrack of the last years of my life. Everyone should love Courtney's voice and Melissa's backing vocals, the choruses, the bridges and Eric Erlandson. I'd love to hear how the original drims from Patty were.
LOVE IT!
