Hungry Lucy
Ohio's goth-tinged trip-hop duo Hungry Lucy formed in 1998, when producer/multi-instrumentalist War-N Harrison needed a vocalist for a track he was doing for a Duran Duran tribute; after meeting and collaborating with singer/songwriter Christa Belle, they started writing original songs together. After receiving a good response to the early efforts they posted on http://www.mp3.com, Hungry Lucy issued their debut album, Apparitions, in 2000. They continued to record and tour locally and returned in 2003 with their sophomore effort, Glo, which featured a lighter, more diverse sound than their first album. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
