DAVID 2.0
Like something out of a Sci-Fi epic, 2.0 arrives in the 21st century armed with a desire for biblical Truth and an all too unique lyrical dexterity. A self-proclaimed "evolutionary", 2.0 serves as a catalyst for musical and spiritual evolution on all fronts. Heavily influenced by a faith-based environment during childhood, his sound is very much a diary of his life journey, documenting personal breakthroughs for the World to see and hear. Born David L. Burroughs II, 2.0 is a man of genuine sentiment. His passion is heard in his words. Combining elements of Hip-Hop, Spoken Word, Classical, R&B, and Pop, this rapturous music artisan has his sights set on changing the World, one stanza at a time. 2.0's abilities to harness the quintessence of futuristic trends have excited and fascinated fans nationwide, alongside his skill as an acclaimed graphic artist. This is evident in his work and affiliation with the San Diego based label-turned-enterprise, Nureau Ink LLC, spearheaded by Gospop superstar, TON3X. Although in church his entire life, 2.0 grew cynical of the inconsistencies that became noticeable to him in places of worship. But this did not stop him from discovering Truth on his own. Instead, these paradoxes ultimately fueled his mission to take "Kingdom marketing" to the next level, thus giving birth to the brand, "Kingdom Marketing Group", an interactive media design and niche marketing company over which he and his younger brother, Michael Burroughs, preside. The company logo can be seen stamped on faith-oriented projects such as 2.0's "RED 4:12, The Anti-Virus", Mic Blu's "LoveHate: The Blu Baptism", and other affiliated titles that include proverbial works by the duo. DAVID 2.0 has shared the stage and/or studio with notables such as TON3X (aka Tonex), Mic Blu, George Callahan, Omega Mythologist, Undefeated, Tha Gift, AJB 1981, Answered Prayers, T.Bizzy, Brotha Los, Rhema K, Wyze Guyz, Lyrikal Princess, Simone Edwards, National, Kimme, Eternul, Young & Godly, and many others. David is married to wife, "Q". They have two children, Amaris Anjanette and Davion Mozex. The couple live in their hometown of San Diego, California... also known as "The Land of Rolled Tacos".
