Evolving into one of western Sydneys best pop punk bands ISTHISNAMETAKEN began at a young age with three friends which shortly became two. Then soon after recruiting a new drummer Dean Olling (now with Fallshort) ISTHISNAMETAKEN released their first demo. A year after being in the band Dean left and Adrian and Duane grabbed Lee off the streets of Doonside and into the studio for their second demo, Now as their music matures ISTHISNAMETAKEN have also acquired a 2nd guitairist Brad. With the Energetic Pop Punk band now releasing their Debut EP local fans are on their toes waiting for more and not so local audiences are about to be spellbound By a band that has played with such acts as Irrelevant, Bagster, Town Hall Steps, the Disables and Sunk loto to name a few.
