Ivan Ilic, pianist
Paris-based pianist Ivan Ilić is gaining international recognition for his “sheer depth and luxuriance of sound.” Ivan studied music and mathematics at UC Berkeley before taking a 'Premier Prix' at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris. In recent years his solo career has taken him throughout Europe. The City of Paris sponsored his last recording. Projects for 2007 include new works by John Metcalf, Keeril Makan, Dmitri Tymoczko, new CDs Debussy and Durosoir, and multiple tours of France, Ireland, and the British Isles. Ivan’s work is currently supported by the Nadia Boulanger Foundation in Paris.
