J Wash

1/4 member of rap group Certified Made Boys, J-Wash is stepping out on his own to work on his solo project. With his debut album "Certified Money" in the works, J-Wash is already showing the world who got da crown. Born Jeffery Lee Bell on February 12, 1989, J-Wash has not always been rapping. He started rapping at the age of 13. J-Wash had no idea that he wanted to make a career out of rapping, until he reached age 15. At age 15, J-Wash wrote his first song entitled "Big Wheels are Sick", with brother/rapper J-Lin. With the lack of a recording studio, the song was not recorded, along with 20 other songs J-Wash had wrote. When J-Wash reached tenth grade, he had found a recording studio. He immediately went into the studio and recorded his first mixtape. After the mixtape was recorded, J-Wash felt that it was not good enough to let anyone hear. The over sound quailty of the record was not up to J-Wash's standards. J-Wash left that studio and went to another one. As before the sound was not good enough. He tried everything to get into a studio, where a professional sound could be heard. In September 2006, J- Wash was introduced to Courtney "C" Henderson production team, by rapper Jay To Tha 3. The two talked about everything that Jay had gain while working with C. Henderson. With everything in mind, J-Wash went to talk and let C. Henderson hear his work. J-Wash was blown away from the knowledge C. Henderson has at a young age. He knew he had to work with "C". After a few conversations, over the week, C. Henderson gave J-Wash a deal. From there J-Wash recorded his first song "Who Got Da Crown", which will be released as the first song late 2006. J-Wash had finally found a place, where he felt his music was good enough, and immediately asked C. Henderson to be over "Cerfified Money". C. Henderson and J-Wash are currently in the studio working on J-Wash's debut album "Certified Money", which C. Henderson announces a May 2007 release. "I feel now I'm home. C. Henderson got me on the right track and it's where I'm gonna be for awhile" says J-Wash
