JABAZZ Jabazz consists of two talented brothers Keylar and Kasha Reynolds formely known as the “Reynolds Brothers”. The Reynolds Brothers began singing at the tender ages of 5 and 6. Being led under the direction Of their mother and grandmother, the Reynolds Brothers would go throughout the city of Atlanta signing on different church programs and functions. As the two brothers entered high school and attended the Avondale School For The Performing Arts, they would then take a turn and start singing R&B with a group of friends they met while attending the School of Performing Arts. With the group of friends they formed a singing group called “BMW’s” meaning Boys Most wanted and with this group they begin to sing on different programs at school, as well as enter and win talent shows at various schools but, just like any other great thing that comes in life the two brothers found out that nothing lasts forever as they parted ways with their high school buddies. As time went on the two brothers started to go back to their church roots and sing gospel again, but not just so that they could be identified as singers, but because they realized that it was now time to use their gifts and callings for the lord and bring young people and people as a whole to the realization and love of Jesus Christ. As the two brothers begin to have deeper relationships with Jesus Christ they in terms grew more passionate about their callings and what they feel they was put here to do. At this time the gospel field begin to change as far genres would be concerned meaning different urban artists started to come along such as Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Fred Hammond Etc. With the two brothers having a street edge and a love for the urban world, they decided to reconstruct their group changing their group name, sound as well as the music they would write to express their experiences with Christ throughout life. As this change came about, things started to happen on the professional side for the two brothers, meaning they started recording their music professionally with many great local producers throughout Atlanta, Ga. They are now signed to a new urban Gospel Label “Jesus Peace Records LLC”. The label is looking to drop their entire album in the new year of 2006. With smooth sounds the brothers music on the new label can be compared to artists such as Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond and other great gospel artists that’s representing the love of Jesus Christ in very Big ways. As the brothers personal quotes it’s not how you start off, but it’s all about how you finish, and that’s what they plan to demonstrate to the world on their walk with Jesus Christ.
