Jade Bridge

The instrumental tradition of China is resurrected by New York-based quartet, Jade Bridge. Formed in the city's Chinatown, the band's sound is the product of four highly talented Chinese-American soloists. In addition to National Heritage Fellowship recipient, Tang Liangxian, on papa (Chinese lute), Jade Bridge features Sisi Chen on yangqin (hammered dulcimer), Zhang Bao-Li on erbu (fiddle) and Chen Tao on dizi (bamboo flute). ~ Craig Harris, All Music Guide
