Brothers James Cole and Cal Cole are behind Fatal Influence, a speed/thrash metal quintet based out of Orlando, Florida. The Cole brothers all began instruments as small childen. James Cole's musical experiences began with piano lessons at the age of six and saxophone beginning three years later. Despite the fact that he claims to have always wanted to play drums, he actually didn't start pounding the tubs until 1992. After a series of letdowns in other groups, the brothers were joined by friend Carmen Jordan in 1994, at which time all concerned relocated to Massachusetts. By 1996 lead guitarist Jason Woods grew into the band along with yet another brother joining the group, vocalist Jon Cole.
