Jan Davis has played a guiding role in the music scene of the greater Washington, D.C., area for more than three decades. A former member of the United States Air Force Singing Sergeants, who developed an Air Force variety show called High Flight, Davis directs the careers of the more than 250 acts signed to her Alexandria, VA-based booking agency, Jan Davis Entertainment, Inc. Originally launched in 1972 to secure engagements for Davis and her band, the company has grown into one of the most important booking agencies in the Northeast.
