Jay P. Baker
Yours Truly; Your Host. My Music Is Hard To Put In A Genre - Like The "StreetFighter" Compared To The Grandmaster, I Am A Renegade Musician With A Mixture Of Incompatible And Incoherent Styles. I Have Never Attended Any Formal Training. My Playing Style Is A Mixture of Emotions Raging Through My Veins. I Am Not The Best Or The Worst, Nor Do I Strive To Be. My Music Is Very Personal To Me, And For Many Years I Had Never Considered Making Anything Out Of It. That All Changed With The Realization That Some Of These Popular Commercial Radio Artists(??) Of Today Suck Way Worse Than I Can, And Certainly Couldn't Hold Their Own Against Most Indie Artists I Have Known. Music Corporations Produce Bottom Line, Not Music. -- "It No Longer Needs To Be any Good" Says The President Of ROT Ten Steele Records, The Sponser Of The New "Hip" Band "Yechh Face", Who's Only Trademark Is Lipsynching Well On A Live Stage And Looking Pretty (They Do It Well, But Where's The Band? Where Are Those Damn Electronic Dance Sounds Coming From AnyWay?!?!) -- So, On That Note, I Have Dedicated My Pursuits To Playing Real Music and Promoting REAL Musicians. Those Of Us Who have Felt The Pain Of Needing Gear, Or Fighting For A Chance To Play Because We Are SURE We Can Make It, If We Could Just Be Heard, And Those Of Us Who Play What We Know And Feel, Not What "Pepsi" Told Us To Play. Enjoy The Jam. Our Music Is An Accomplishment. For Me, It Is My Life. These Are My Hopes And Dreams Equated To Song. This Is MY Journey Through The Clouds.
