Its been 7 years since a determined young man set out to find himself in the world of music. Selling over 4,ooo albums as an indie, toured for 1 year as the guest frontman for a band with a #1 selling album on the dance charts, co-wrote a song that was #19 on The Rick Dee's Weekly Top 40, a #1 song on internet radio, 2 song writing awards, 1 best new male vocalist award, featured in The Dallas Morning News (twice), 3 worship leader positions, and over 1,000 live perfomances later, Jayden Frost knows who he is and where he belongs. From the beginning, Jayden was marked out by his drive and ambition; Jayden admitted in early interviews that he was a performer before he could play or sing. In the early 90's, he was actually a professional wrestler who appeared numerous times on E.S.P.N. Jayden is also an accomplished local film/television actor with small roles in Ace Ventura part 2, Walker Texas Ranger, Wishbone, Camp Charlie, Space Marines, and numerous others. In the last few years, Jayden went from strength to strength, and from show to show. His first three albums: Out With The Old (1998), An Evening With J (2000) and Elation (2002), were recorded, burned, labeled, and distributed out of his home. Regardless, they still captured the collective imagination of audiences at every venue he played. From 2002-2004, Jayden was the frontman for several local cover bands that he gives credit for helping him find his stage presence. He was in three bands total. In Group Therapy, he was a co-vocalist, played keyboards, and guitar. Hidden Agenda, was a band that really gave him a chance to explore his own voice. The biggest opportunity in that phase of his career came from a band called, "Reflex". They actually toured and even went to Puerto Rico and The Bahamas. In the winter of 2004, Jayden was ready for something new. He answered an ad in a local newspaper that read, "Producer seeks vocalist for a c.d. project". Jayden answered, met with the producer, auditioned, and began writing his first full length album that day. The producer is a very well known member of a pop-trio band from the late 80's that had a #1 song in the charts in 1988/89, and was recently featured in a popular movie. The album was eventually released as "Blue" in July 2005, and is still doing very well on the internet. "Blue", would eventually open the door for an extensive tour in 2006 for the duo. The co-writer of the album was approached by a major bnooking agency to reform his 80's band and do four shows. The original vocalist could not attend, so Jayden was offered the position. Jayden accepted, and the two went on to do 36 successful performances in the U.S. and Mexico before going their seperate ways. Jayden felt right at home on some of the best stages in the country. Some of the venues Jayden has performed at include: The Greek Theatre (Los Angeles),The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (San Francisco), City Lights Pavilion (Denver, CO), Reliant Center (Houston), Fair Park (Dallas). Jayden is now currently wrapping up production on his second full length c.d. called "Reluctant Hero" due out by late Summer 2007. He intends to first release it on the internet through his own private indie record label, "Frostman Records". The album contains 10 encouraging tracks that share his true feelings on God, society, love, and life.
