My name is Jeff Hughes and I am a guitarist and songwriter with my main focus on mainstream Alternative Rock. I am currently working on getting in the studio soon to put together an EP for the Jeffersun project. Under my last solo project Stepkid Hughes, I recorded a three song demo named Too Illegit to Quit. The songs include Pee-On, Just a Kid, and The Heat. Also, in 1998 I entered and won first place at the 102.7 The Bear Best Licks contest. I am looking to get signed with an Indy label. As well as my Jeffersun solo project, I am currently a part of two cover bands Vision and Shoreline. Vision is a top 40 pop rock band with covers ranging from Pink Floyd, Porno for Pyros, Aerosmith, Nirvana, etc. Shoreline is another cover band with covers ranging from Fleetwood Mac, Jewel, No Doubt , and The Cranberries. There is no limit to the madness. I am looking forward to entertaining the Metro area and other locations around the Tri State Area. So get your rocks off and roll!
