Jeffrey Paige and the Testosterone Boys
"Jeffrey Paige" are the newly-formed super group out of Brownsville, Texas, and their rise to stardom marks the comeback of "Glam Rock"'s prodigal son, Jeffrey Paige. Jeffrey Paige was previously the lead guitarist for the one-hit wonder band, "Till Death Do Us Party" during the 1970s, and he was known for always appearing onstage wearing women's clothing. After leaving the band without fulfilling his enormous potential in 1979, he became notorious for his over-the-top drug habit and womanizing ways. His world came crashing down with the birth of his 15th son in 2003, Spike Oates, an event which caused him to enter rehab and clean up his act. Jeffrey has 36 known children with 34 different women across the United States. Jeffrey, even during his worst years of addiction, has always been a great benefactor of charities around the globe. That is how he first came in contact with current Jeffrey Paige drummer, Chuck Scrotum. They met during one of the biggest events of the decade; the "Save the Rainbow Tour", in 1977, with an all-star cast of musicians onstage at the same time playing for world peace and free shampoo. Scrotum, which of course isn't his real name, changed his name from Adams because his high school classmates constantly tormented him about his family name. Scrotum used to be in the chart-topping band, "Sellout", from 1966 to 1981, and in indie-labeled billboarders, "Washup", from 1985 to 2000. In between these bands, Chuck worked as a lobbyist for the Republican National Party. José Menez, often referred to as the "Latino Sex God", was born in Matamoros, Mexico, in 1956. He launched his career in violent porn movies during the late 1970s under the name "Muchos Dulces", where he often got the roles as the unannounced plumber. José moved to the States in the 1980s, and picked up his native-country's national instrument; the guitar. He played small clubs with the garage band "Aliméntenos", and after paying his dues on the club circuit, he finally reached stardom after being spotted dating Emmy award-winning actress Jolene Bates. He was widely recognized for his guitar skills at the 'MTV Airhead Free Concert' in 1993 by Jeffrey, who soon became a good friend of Josés. In early 2006, the band got their own MTV-show called "We Want You", where they auditioned thousands of eager teens, who were not familiar with the band members at all, but who were really happy to be on national television, to fill the spot as the supergroups bassist. The band shocked everyone when they tabbed Phillip Morris as the new addition. Phillip Morris, who is not related in any way to the tobacco giant, was the oldest contestant, and won just because of his name, and not for his skill with the bass. Born in 1948, in New York City, he grew up working on Broadway. Phillip featured in the Broadway hit "Dogs", where he played a small, but controversial, part. Cliff Ledger's story is short, but no less intriguing. Born in 1978, he is the youngest edition to the Testosterone Boys. He was picked up on the streets of Los Angeles in September 2006, because the band needed a keyboard player, and he looked like a likely candidate. Growing up as a Michael Bolton fan and an air guitarist, Cliff was perfect for the role of the supergroup's 5th and final member.
