"My music is best described as soulful roots rock," states Joe Carey, a singer-songwriter guitarist from Minnesota. "It's sort of a collage of sound that pays tribute to my biggest influences which range from Zeppelin and Hendrix, to Cat Stevens and Ritchie Havens." Joe has been involved in the music business for over 15 years. He has written, performed, and recorded with several bands including Loft, The Porn Thieves, Minnesota Gold, and The Careys, and currently performs with Nick Hensley in the rogue acoustic duo Love Songs For Angry Men. Joe also does a fair share of work as a solo artist. In June of 2003, he released his solo debut, Wondervibe, and is now writing songs for his next album to be released in late 2007. Joe currently resides in St. Paul, MN with his wife Jenny and their daughter Sophia.
