Junkrod
Junkrod Joe and the Cadillac Hearse, formed in 2002, is a three piece rock band out of Baltimore, Maryland. The band has played hundreds of shows and events throughout the US on independent tours and in support of such acts as JB Beverley and the Wayward Drifters, Joe Buck, Scott H. Biram, Throw Rag, The Chop Tops, The Koffin Kats, Artimus Pyledriver, The Necromantix, and Danzig. For those tired of the legions of MTV bands that use smoke, mirrors, perfect hair and makeup to get their point across, Junkrod Joe and the Cadillac Hearse offer an alternative. Song writing focuses on themes of redemption, Love, Hate, Roller Queens, the Good, Bad and Ugly, to the Demolition Derby. Combine these elements with musical influences ranging from Swampy Blues to Southern-fried Country, and bad ass Stoner Rockabilly on a Rock n’ Roll foundation that spews Blood, Sweat and Gears. The band consists of Joe Anderson (aka Junkrod Joe) supplying vocals, big mean guitars and songwriting duties, Mad-Scientist in the studio Darren Saxton (aka Drunkrod) on upright and electric bass, and on drums, the flashy green and brown-eyed mutant attraction sometimes referred to as the Chupacabra, Mr. Matty Bohemian.
