His name is Francis Kimmel and has been playing guitar since 12 years old. He had many friends while he was young and has followers occasionally. His cousin Shawn passed away while he was in 9th grade and that was a devastating blow for him. Nobody else was able to play guitar but Francis took it upon himself and through his crying and heartbreaking, he played The Man Who Sold the World on guitar for his cousin Shawn at the funeral. Francis was sent over the edge in severe depression. He finally recovered because his cousin was who he looked up to and his cousin Shawn wanted to be a DJ and he realized he will do as his cousin never was able to do. Francis met a friend who later became his best friend, Jeremy. Jeremy’s sister had a birthday party in November of 2005 and Francis opted the name Icy Chocolate Milkshakes for a DJ but later changed to K Twist which is what his DJ name is now. The birthday party was off the chain and they gave Francis ‘mad props.’ Jeremy provided the speakers and amp and K Twist had the laptop skill for crossfade. Now K Twist is making beats and looking for MC’s, record companies or commercial agencies to buy beats. K Twist is loaded with more than 18 full beats. K Twist makes his beats mostly hiphop now but also techno and indie and what he feels is inspirational at the moment.
