Cajun accordion player Kaleb Trahan began playing the instrument at the age of nine, and a year later, was playing in public (playing with his own band, as well as alongside such notables as Johnnie Allan, Lesa Cormier & the Sundown Playboys, Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, and the Moe-D Band). By the time he was 12, he issued his debut album, the independently released La Prochaine Generation...C'est dans Mon Sang (which translated means The Next Generation...It's in My Blood).
