Kaleb Trahan
Cajun accordion player Kaleb Trahan began playing the instrument at the age of nine, and a year later, was playing in public (playing with his own band, as well as alongside such notables as Johnnie Allan, Lesa Cormier & the Sundown Playboys, Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, and the Moe-D Band). By the time he was 12, he issued his debut album, the independently released La Prochaine Generation...C'est dans Mon Sang (which translated means The Next Generation...It's in My Blood). In 2001, Trahan released his sophomore effort, The Next Generation, his first for the Swallow label. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide
