bbrabner's Album Review for Hopes and Fears
""
Deep Inside
The first time I heard Somewhere Only We Know I was immediately reminded of a dear friend of mine who took his own life, and saying that I'm not trying to incite any form of negativity towards this track. What I am saying is that the tempo and the emotion within the track are beautifully strong; and this goes for all of the album. The first track really frightens me by conjuring up some very existential images in my mind (and, No, I don't take any form of drugs!) and, quite frankly, to be able to achieve that is in itself ground-breakingly creative - Congratulations Keane, you have my support. I am truly moved.
