The bassist and composer Ken Anderson is one of the main forces behind the rock band Gush, which has unambitiously released only one album, entitled Ambition. Anderson worked hard on this project, coming up with artwork and cover design and co-writing many of the songs. These run the range of emotion from "Pissed Off" to the more satisfied sounding "Apple of My Eye". This Gush, also featuring guitaristDanny Zicaro, should not be confused with the Swedish avant garde jazz band of the same name, not to mention Gash,Kush, Cush or Cush-Cush. ~ Eugene Chadbourne, All Music Guide
