Kevorkian Death Cycle

Ryan Gribbin and Roger Jarvis have been honing their personal industrial dance sounds since the mid-'90s, plugging the synth-beats of their industrial peers (Penal Colony, Interzone) in order to craft their own band, politically tagged Kevorkian Death Cycle. They released their debut Collection for Injection on the now defunct Ras Dva and built a name for themselves during a 1997 tour thanks to their pinch-hitting mover and shaker attitude while delivering their own brash darkwave beats. In 1998, the duo inked a deal with Metropolis Records and released Dark Sides, which was followed by show dates with Front 242 and Front Line Assembly. A+O(M) was issued a year later and featured a retooled version of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's club/dance favorite "Relax." Metropolis reissued Collection for Injection in fall 2000. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide
