For me art in general always stood in close relation with my own personal evolution. Of course, I was 'nt aware of this when I was a child. There still was so much to discover. However, later on in secondary school, I chose to study the science of art. Now, looking back, I can not say that during my studies I have learned nothing; but the essence of art remained a mystery to me. Not until I was about 18 years old, when I was going more deeply into the subject, art began to have another meaning for me. Around this period I started reading a book about the relation between art and religion. A revealing experience. It confirmed a lot of my personal theories I had at the time and stimulated me to start my quest for God. Finally, after I got initiated on the spiritual path Sant Mat, and began to practise, all answers came to me.
