A pop/rock band from Spain, La Nube were formed in 1993 by ex-El Regalo de Silvia drummer Pepe Benito and guitarist Silvia Fayanas, joined by singer/guitarist Cristina Pablo and bassist Nines Caceles. In 1997, the foursome came in first place in Aragon's Sonda Contest. That same year, they issued an EP called Fritas, which was followed by Pom, Pom, Pom in November of 1998. Spanish independent label Grabaciones En El Mar released La Nube's debut album, 90-60-90, in May of 1999.
