onetenth's Album Review for Jill Croston
""
I taped some of these songs off a KFAT radio interview back in 1979. They are just as strong and raw as the first time I heard them.
I wish that I had the entire "album". I was only able to record 5 songs. "Burning Love" is not the Elvis version. It's almost hony tonky but with power. "Isabella" has a Joan Biez sound. It is a strong ballad. "Higher and Higher" builds like sex. "Good Time Mama" is perhaps the tamest, yet a nice cover just the same. "Jamica" has a saucy beat that ends big. If any of you have these songs on your computer please share them. My tape is getting old.
