Larry Stephenson
Larry Stephenson learned the guitar and mandolin from his father and formed his first bluegrass band by the time he was in high school. After playing with Cliff Waldron for a short time, Bill Harrell and His Virginians (1979-1983), and the Bluegrass Cardinals (1983-1989), Stephenson began a solo career and released Born to Sing on the Pinecastle label.
