They say misery makes an artist stand out. In the case of Last Summer , it took 3 years and a cruel wake up call to unleash enough potential to make an old (and almost forgotten) dream come true: making raw acoustic music with songs about love, fate, being lost and moving on. While being contemplated in the first months of '04, the band was not formed until February '07. Franco Fichtner (vocals and a heap of instruments) got together with friend Jens Vieweger (guitar) for a (side project) spring adventure. This will definitely not be the final setup, but enough to get started. So far, sparse tour dates have been (and will be) announced on the website of the band. Also, there will be an EP titled "/lost+found" hitting the stores (as in: freely available on the web) in late summer '07. Stay tuned.
