Background Born and raised in Yonkers, NY, LC moved throughout the suburbs of New York City during his lifetime and has always kept a close ear to what’s hot in the streets of rap’s birthplace. LC’s influences range from storytellers like Slick Rick to the passionate Tupac Shakur. Not limited to just rap, from an early age LC was drawn to the soulful sounds of Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder, while also enjoying the essence of rock of such bands as Red Hot Chili Peppers and U2. After sustaining a debilitating hip injury and undergoing major surgery during his collegiate years at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, LC was forced to leave behind his childhood dream of becoming a professional baseball player and at the encouragement of his friends, transformed what was once a hobby into a finely-tuned repertoire. In early 2006, he took the next step and together with promoter Leon Kruset and designer Bruce Budd, formed “On Deck Entertainment” which has led him to perform at such places as the “Lemon Lounge” in New York City, the “Acoustic Café” in Bridgeport, CT, “The Egg – Center for the Performing Arts” in Albany, New York and the College of Saint Rose “St. Joseph’s Hall”. Later in 2006, LC partnered with Kathryn Neel and Leon Kruset to form production company “Precision Hits” where he is currently finalizing his demo and working towards the completion of his first album.
