Lewis burst onto the scene in 1999, when their Progress & Regress revealed their knack for tense, jangly emo rock. The band, consisting of vocalist/guitarist Brett Tohlen, guitarist Matt Beaton, bassist Jeff Truly, and drummer John Owen Parish, was named after the author C.S.
