Fingerella69er's Album Review for Ivan

""
Promising debut
Lloyd Bank$ aka the Boy Wonder is by far G-Unit's lyrical rapper. Lloyd Bank$ appeared on G-Unit's first mixtapes, 50 Cent's debut album, and on Beg 4 Mercy. The Hunger 4 More his first album is great. Though it follows the blueprint of GRODT it's not a classic but its a very promising debut. Bank$ is way ahead of 50's level lyrically. He has an awesome intro "Ain't No Click" with Yayo dropping his typical 16's that in no way dissapoints. Bank$ has the club song "On Fire" basically his version of In Da Club, he has the street song "Til The End", his version of "High All The Time" with 50 and Snoop on the song "Can I Get High" and so on. Bank$ album doesn't really have any sucky songs except maybe one or two but the rest are real good. A flaw with this one aside from being Bank$ version of GRODT, is that Bank$ can't write songs as well as 50 does, and he's not as versatile. He doesn't write memorable hooks and for the hooks at times 50 lends him a hand. Another flaw is that the beats could have been better. No doubt though is that this cd is very promising and Bank$ had a great one going here a must have for any G-Unit fan or any fan of modern day hip-hop.

man, this is a disappointing album from the lieutenant of g-unit. don't know whether the pressure got to him or what, but with tony yayo's album & mobb deep's album catching bricks this year, lloyd had to come out re-establish g-unit outside of 50. this

As the best lyrical spitter on G-Unit, Lloyd's album The Hunger For More(04) was a slept-on album by many hip-hop heads.
What I like here is the fact that Banks doesn't rely heavily on his click(G-Unit) to help him through the album. He's got fi
