Far and away reggaeton's first major hitmaking production team, Luny Tunes cranked out innumerable hits, club anthems, and fan favorites, working with all the most successful performers and releasing popular albums of their own as well. Comprised of Francisco Saldana and Victor Cabrera, Luny Tunes were the Neptunes of reggaeton during the early 2000s, crafting standout songs for whomever they worked with, superstar or no-name. Though the number of Luny Tunes-produced hits during those heady days when reggaeton was coming up are too bountiful to tally, their biggest hit -- and reggaeton's biggest as well -- was Daddy Yankee's "Gasolina." Thanks to their production not only on that song but elsewhere on the album from which it came, Barrio Fino, Daddy Yankee became reggaeton's first international superstar; Barrio Fino sold tons and hovered at the top of the Latin album charts for practically two years. Other big-time reggaeton performers like Tego Calderón also worked closely with Luny Tunes, something that is showcased well on the duo's albums, which feature a rotating roster of talent. Mas Flow came first, in 2003, followed by La Trayectoria in 2004 and Mas Flow, Vol. 2 in 2005. The latter sold very well, spinning off a few chart hits.
