M-Boss is made of myself, Hywel Jones. I was DJ formerly known as Eddy Taurus who played the Pembrokeshire and South Wales club scene in the 90's. I gave up DJing to raise a family and support it with a full time career in nursing. I never lost my interest in music and have recently been able to find more time to dedicate my self to it. My music will probably have a slightly "90's" feel to it, My favourite producers of the time being Brother in Rhythm and Chris & James. My setup is very basic consisting of a PC running Kubuntu Linux. The software I use is all open source including Ardour DAW, Rosegarden, ZynAddSubFX, JAMIN and a few others. I also have an Akai S3000XL. M-Boss stands for Music By Open Source Software.
