Madball is my favorite old-school New York hardcore band, next to Sick Of It All.. with all these new so-called 'hardcore' bands that are just emo bands that scream, like Every Time I Die, Atreyu, and Avenged Sevenfold ruling the world, and, boring 'metal-core' bands like Hatebreed, Sworn Enemy, and Lamb of God, whom of which their deepest thing they can write is "Now, is the time, for me to rise, to my feet", it's bands like Madball that give a true reminder of what REAL hardcore is all about! It's not about whining about your girlfriend stealing your mascara... It's about staying true to yourself and not taking any crap from anyone! This is probably my favorite Madball album, containing my favorite Madball song, and one of my favorite hardcore songs of all time, "Down by Law".. you also gotta love "Set It Off", "New York City", and "Spit on Your Grave"..

New York hardcore really doesn't get much better than this.. Turn this up and show those 'emo-core' kids what HARDCORE is!
