Featuring former members of Bisybackson and Kind of Like Spitting, the three-piece of Made for TV Movie got together in 1999 with a noisy sound of indie/power pop that looks up to the likes of Big Star and Sonic Youth. Consisting of Dan deVriend (vocals/guitar), PJ Aylward (drums), and Tanya Smith (bass), Jealous Butcher Records eventually released the trio's debut full-length, The Story of My Heroics, on CD while Donut Friends put out the vinyl version that same year. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
