Mardo

Los Angeles-based hard rock outfit Mardo reunited singer/bassist Aron Mardo with his guitarist/drummer brother Robert following their tenure in the Spies -- after signing to the House of Restitution label, they issued their self-titled debut LP in mid-2005, earning alternative radio airplay with the singles "Here She Comes" and "Anyone But Me." Upon adding guitarist Coley Read and keyboardist Sonny Sly to their stage lineup, Mardo opened on tour for King's X -- their follow-up effort, The New Gun, appeared in the summer of 2006. Read was then replaced by Casey Hopper that July. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
