Marliology
M. Ming – Instrumental composer My interest in music dates back to my childhood listening to my father’s collection of vinyl, which included hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s of Disco, funk, jazz, reggae, r&b, rock, and soul. I started making instrumentals on my first keyboard at ages 12 years old for my brothers and cousins to sing with. My passion for music composition started to grow behond simple keyboard tracts when I was first introduced to a software/digital audio workstation (DAW) in 2000; and I have been experiementing with different PC and Macintosh software synthesizers, instruments, and drum plugins ever since. My instrumentals include hip-hop, rnb, house, Dub style reggae, dancehall reggae, and pop. My demo can give you a sample of my work, which has a diverse combination of sounds from multiple genres. I currently use a mac computer using Ableton live 6.0 and Reason 3.0 software with multiple instruments, effect pluggins and an extensive sound library; therefore giving me endless room for creativity and sonic possiblities.
